The Scottish Space School – Moving Forward

The Scottish Space School seeks to inspire young Scots to pursue science related courses of study, and consider careers in science and technology.

The programme has been going successfully for the past six years, with summer schools, school visits and study visits to Houston. A solid foundation of relationship has been established with the International Space Community.

Building on this foundation a new Partnership has been established between the Universities of Strathclyde, Glasgow and Edinburgh with Skills Development Scotland.

With this new Partnership comes a new approach:-

There will be residential Summer School(s) in June 2009
There will be a Houston study visit in November 2009

Application procedure for June 2009 Summer School. A Space School co-ordinator will be in touch with your school in the near future to provide advice on the changed process and support any questions you may have.
