How can the website help?
This website has resources and information for both individuals and guidance and learning providers.
Individuals
Individuals can use this site in a self help basis to progress their own personal career planning.
Providers
Providers may also wish to assist their learners/service users to use some of the guidance resources available as part of their programme of activity. This area of the site aims to support the sharing of information and development of partnership working across the guidance and learning community.
CareersMatch
CareersMatch is a program designed to match the user to a career through answering a set of questions. In order to participate, users first have to register on Careers Scotland website.
CV Builder
The CV Builder provides users with an opportunity to create and save their own CVs. It is possible to save up to 5 different CVs at any one time. Online Help is provided at each step in the process to give the user hints and tips on how to use the CV Builder. Users will need to register and then log on to access the CV Builder.
There is also the opportunity to register as a Partner on the site and be included in the Partner Directory – this will assist interagency referral and information exchange.
Careers Scotland organise website familiarisation sessions which aim to promote and support the use of the website by partner organisations and individual guidance and learning practitioners.
