Equal Opportunities

Equal Opportunities policy

Our mission is to help the people and businesses of Scotland succeed. In doing so, we are committed to equal opportunities, both as an employer and as a service provider.

Careers Scotland wants to see everyone fulfil their potential and that means promoting equality of opportunity for all the young people and adults we work with. Our products and services are available to all people in Scotland, regardless of race or ethnicity, disability, gender or sexual orientation, age or religion. This principle underpins all of our work.

Opportunities in employment, education or training, should be available to all individuals in our communities. Careers Scotland will support individuals to take the widest view of all the available options.

We promote and support the rich diversity of our communities for the benefit of individuals and businesses. We believe this is a vital element in developing Scotland’s economic potential to the full.
