Key Stakeholders and Partnerships

Careers Scotland has developed important relationships with organisations which are integral to the learning and guidance community. Here you will find links direct to these organisations' services.

Partnership Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding

The strategic aims of Careers Scotland are:

  • To improve the employability and enterprise skills of the people of Scotland
  • To increase participation in learning and employment
  • To be the leading national advocate for the guidance and employability sector

With these aims in mind, Careers Scotland establishes Partnerships with organisations that have aims and objectives of mutual interest to Careers Scotland and our clients.

Careers Scotland will enter into Partnership Agreements with some of these organisations. The objectives of these agreements will depend on the organisation. In general terms these objectives are:

  • To work jointly to ensure that effective outcomes for our clients are achieved
  • To ensure that both partners meet the various targets set for them and by them
  • To inform longer term planning and strategic thinking

Agreements

Our Partner Directory provides organisations with the opportunity to promote their services to the clients of Careers Scotland. Organisations can opt for a directory listing when they apply to become registered partners.
