UCAS replied:

The subject of websites offering help with UCAS Personal Statements has attracted a lot of media attention recently but the thing to remember is that these websites are only one source of help.

Advice on how to structure your Personal Statement can be obtained from many other sources including Careers Advisors and the UCAS website. However you should carefully consider the information you wish to include, the best way to present it and ensure that it is both truthful and accurate.

To be original your Personal Statement should be all your own words and not those copied from other sources. Have a go at writing your Personal Statement before checking out how others have been written.

Each applicant will have their own reasons for wanting to pursue a particular course of study and these will be numerous. Whilst reasons may be similar the way you present your Personal Statement will be unique to you. Providing it is all your own work you have nothing to fear.
