What Do Graduates Do?
This new publication - What Do Graduates Do? (Scotland) - will enable the reader for the first time to understand how graduates from Scottish universities fare in the job market. This will also allow comparisons to be made with UK destination data in the ‘parent’ publication - What Do Graduates Do?
The Scottish publication aims to provide information about the destinations of those who graduated from Scottish Higher Education institutions in 2005. The information outlines those who are in work (including what type of work), those undertaking various forms of further study, or who are unemployed. This information is useful to those considering a higher education course, those currently at university, teachers or advisers offering careers guidance, and to parents who wish to help their child with choices about the future.
What Do Graduates Do? (Scotland) was written by members of the WDGD Scotland Advisory Group and of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services Scotland (AGCAS Scotland). Careers Scotland’s Peter Swan was a member of the group and has contributed to the report.
