The Young Scot Awards 2006

Careers Scotland recently sponsored the Cultural Diversity Award at The Young Scot Awards 2006.

The awards ceremony was hosted by GMTV weather girl Andrea McLean and was held in The Gait in Glasgow in March of this year.

The category reflects our activities with ethnic minority groups and our commitment to equality. Read more about inspirational teenager Nifraz Raheem, who won the category.

In fact, Nifraz impressed the judges so much that he went on to be crowned Scotland’s Greatest Young Scot 2006.
