Where Young People Go Upon Leaving School

Each year, on behalf of the Scottish Executive, Careers Scotland produces statistics on where young people go upon leaving school.  The Executive are keen to know what percentage of school leavers go on to college; university; training and employment and as the statutory agency which deals with school leavers, Careers Scotland is best placed to find this out.  

They get the information from a range of sources including schools but also from phoning and sending letters to leavers. 

Careers Scotland advisers are currently doing this work so don’t be surprised if you get a call/letter asking you what you’re doing now that you’ve left school!
