Sponsored Places on Investment Course Now Available

Scottish Investment Operations (SIO), which represents eighteen leading global investment companies, has sponsored places available on its next course in March 2008. To date 118 individuals have benefited from sponsorship from The Stewart Ivory Foundation to attend SIO’s introductory Investment course. Many of these individuals have gained employment following the course, the majority in Investment Operations and Financial Services careers.

This unique 7-day ‘Introduction to Investment Operations’ course provides delegates with an overview of the financial services industry and an insight into the different functions of Investment Operations, a strong and growing part of the financial services sector in Scotland. By the end of the course delegates will have gained a basic grounding in Investment Operations and be prepared for an entry-level role in the sector.

The course runs from Thursday 6 March to Friday 14 March (excluding weekend) in Glasgow. To take advantage of this tremendous opportunity individuals should apply online using the sponsored application form by Friday 15 February 2008.
