A Quick Guide to Polish Qualifications

Extract from SQA website:

"In response to demands from employer organisations for a tool that would provide a basic understanding of the the typical qualifications being presented by the large number of Polish nationals seeking employment in Scotland, we have created these web pages to provide information on Polish education and training, with a particular focus on qualifications for post 16 year olds (excluding university degrees).

We hope that this tool, which shows how Polish qualifications compare to Scottish ones, will not only support employers and training providers, but will also benefit migrant workers themselves who may be able to use this information to progress in employment and learning."

Visit the SQA website for the full guide.

Froth and Bubble

The National Archives website has joined with the Central Office of Information to celebrate the COIs 60th Anniversary. You'll find a selection of some of the most memorable and influential COI public information films covering events from Britain's post-war history.

For those of a certain age – take a walk down memory lane…Decimalisation (1971), Clunk Click (1972), and the ever popular, if disturbing, Lonely Water (1973).
