Interests

Why do these matter?

Your interests can give you a good starting point when looking at career choice. Hobbies, sports, school subjects or courses can be useful indicators of the types of work activities which could suit you. A job that involves doing things that interest you will be far more rewarding than one which does not.

For some people job satisfaction comes from the actual work activities; for others, it comes from where they work, who they work with and the rewards of the job.
